Floating architecture
Architect Gianluca Santosuosso has drafted a floating hotel, the »MORPHotel«. Modules/cap-sules are lined up alongside each other like ribs. Individual rooms can be cut off, and the guest room, for example, is mobile. The entire floatel moves on its own with the ocean current and is itself mobile. A long jetty allows both for arrival on helicopter and docking on land or at a har-bour. The »MORPHotel« also forms an independent ecosystem by employing rainwater tanks, solar and wave energy as well as the integration of a floating lawn.
