Silence Amplifier

Silence Amplifier
Meditation Cabin

Forests, home to trees and rich biodiversity, offer a place of calm, meditation, and connection with nature. They are Earth's green superpower, providing oxygen, purifying water, and serving as a vital carbon sink. Latvia, with its expansive woodlands, is a sanctuary for these natural experiences. In the forests of east-central Latvia, a unique retreat exists—the Silence Amplifier, a cabin designed to deepen one's connection with nature. Just 100 km from Riga, this cabin amplifies the sounds of the forest, creating an immersive meditation experience. Its conical shape and advanced sound system allow guests to customize and enhance the natural soundscape, blending indoor and outdoor serenity. The cabin’s design is in harmony with its surroundings, featuring a living roof that extends the forest bed and using locally-sourced materials. Energy self-sufficiency is achieved through a wood stove, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Constructed with Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) for modularity and efficiency, the 15 m² cabin includes a kitchen, meditation platform, and a small bathroom. A green roof offers an additional space for outdoor meditation, making the Silence Amplifier a perfect blend of nature and modern design.
