Samsung Galaxy Studio
Sixteen colorful shipping containers traveled from 15 Russian cities to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, collecting wishes for the future and converging at Olympic Park. Their LEGO-like design, with large windows, creates a bright, flexible exhibition space for events, live arcades, and Samsung Galaxy product showcases. After the Olympics, the containers are donated to communities across Russia, supporting local educational facilities.
16 colourful shipping containers make their journey from 15 Russian cities for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. The reused containers collect people’s wishes for the future and bring them together at the Olympic Park.
The LEGO-like structure and large windows allow natural light to pour into the flexible exhibition space. Events, a live arcade and product showcases highlight the best features of Samsung Galaxy products.
The stacked containers also have a life after the Olympics; they are donated to communities around the country to support local educational facilities, giving back to the country that hosted the Olympics.
